Before you invest roughly 30 minutes of your time completing the analysis,
you should know a few things.
The Energy Profile Tool is designed for a single facility, heated with electricity,
central steam, or fossil fuel (natural gas, oil, or propane) for the following
building types:
- Stand-alone retail
- Strip mall
- Large mall
- Grocery store
- Motel/Hotel
- Elementary school
- Middle/high school
- Extended care
- Hospital
- High-rise office (4 stories or more)
- Low-rise office (3 stories or less)
- High-rise multiunit residential
- Low-rise multiunit residential
